Terms of Service

DuoVitals (The partner dashboard for Oura Ring) is a third-party web application that allows users to connect their Oura Ring account and share health statistics with a linked partner. The Service displays data retrieved from the official Oura API, including but not limited to sleep, readiness, activity, heart rate, SpO₂, stress, heart health metrics, tags, sessions, and ring status.

DuoVitals is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Oura Health Oy.

To use the Service, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have a valid Oura account and ring
• Have an active Oura membership if required by Oura (Gen 3 and Gen 4 rings)
• Authorize the Service via Oura OAuth with the scopes required for features you wish to use

You authenticate using your Oura account via OAuth. We do not store your Oura password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Oura account and for all activity that occurs through your connected session.

By generating an invite link or accepting a partner invite, you explicitly consent to sharing all health data accessible through your authorized Oura scopes with your linked partner. This includes profile information, daily metrics, heart rate, workouts, SpO₂, tags, sessions, and ring data.

You may unlink your partner at any time from Settings. Unlinking stops future sharing but does not delete data your partner may have already viewed.

You represent that you have the right to share this data with your chosen partner and that your partner has agreed to receive it.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Share partner data publicly, resell it, or use it for commercial purposes without consent
• Attempt to access other users' data without authorization
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service or Oura API
• Circumvent OAuth, security, or rate-limiting measures

The Service displays health and wellness metrics for informational purposes only. DuoVitals does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Do not use the Service to make medical decisions. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns.

Metrics such as cardiovascular age, VO₂ max, SpO₂, and stress scores are estimates provided by Oura and may not be clinically accurate.

Data freshness depends on your Oura ring syncing with the Oura mobile app. We are not responsible for delays, gaps, or inaccuracies in Oura data. Some metrics require specific ring generations, firmware, or membership tiers.

The Service is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, real-time updates, or error-free operation.

The Service integrates with the Oura API and uses subprocessors for hosting, email, and optional analytics. Your use of Oura is governed by Oura's own terms and privacy policy. See our Subprocessors page for details. We are not responsible for third-party service outages or policy changes.

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by DuoVitals. Oura Ring, Oura, and related marks are trademarks of Oura Health Oy. You retain ownership of your personal health data.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DuoVitals AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (or $100 if the Service is free).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DuoVitals from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your sharing of data with a partner.

You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting your account in Settings, disconnecting your session, or revoking DuoVitals from your Oura account. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required for legal or security reasons.

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post updated Terms on this page with a revised date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes may be communicated via email if we have your address on file.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.
